Stockdale Capital Partners announces hiring of new executives, investment professionals as company’s footprint grows
New hires bring backgrounds in multifamily investments, retail asset management, tax compliance, hospitality asset management, investments, and retail operations
LOS ANGELES – August 11, 2025 — Stockdale Capital Partners (“Stockdale”), a vertically integrated, real estate investment firm, is pleased to announce the addition of several new executives and investment professionals to its team during the first half of 2025.

The executives and investment professionals are as follows:
Bastian Peters – Managing Director, Co-Head of Retail Asset Management
Mr. Peters is Co-Head of Stockdale’s retail platform, where he oversees all retail asset management activities and plays a key role in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Mr. Peters brings over a decade of institutional real estate experience with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) working in Europe and the U.S. where he helped lead U.S. investment and disposition strategies. Prior he served as Head of URW’s U.S. regional portfolio, managing the performance and operations of a diverse retail portfolio.
Sam Palmer – Managing Director, Head of Multifamily Asset Management
Mr. Palmer is responsible for all multifamily asset management activities at Stockdale. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Palmer was the EVP of Stoneweg US, an investment and development company based in Geneva, Switzerland with the responsibility overseeing the US multifamily portfolio nationally. Prior to Stoneweg, Sam worked for TruAmerica Multifamily running asset management for the Pacific Northwest and Mountain regions.
Kenny Chu – Director of Tax
Mr. Chu is responsible for tax compliance and tax structuring for Stockdale managed funds and is actively involved in tax aspects of deal acquisition and financing. Prior to joining Stockdale, Mr. Chu worked at various well-respected institutions including Pacific Investment Management Company and Oaktree Capital Management.
Anthony Lumby – Vice President, Investments
Mr. Lumby is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investments across all property types. Previously, he was a member of the real estate investments team at CIM Group, where he focused on originating equity, preferred equity, and credit investments across all asset classes. Prior to CIM, Mr. Lumby worked at the Related Companies and Eastdil Secured.
Peter Brogan – Vice President, Hospitality Asset Management
Mr. Brogan is responsible for hospitality asset management and analyzing new investments on behalf of the firm’s hospitality platform. Prior to joining Stockdale, Mr. Brogan worked at Fortress Investment Group where he was responsible for asset managing a portfolio of hotel and resort investments across the US and Caribbean. Prior to Fortress, Peter worked for Aimbridge Hospitality, FelCor Lodging Trust (now RLJ Lodging Trust), and in Ernst & Young’s Real Estate and Hospitality practice.
Ian Lesyk – Vice President, Retail Asset Management
Mr. Lesyk is responsible for managing retail investments on behalf of Stockdale. He brings over a decade of experience in previous roles including asset management at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), responsible for managing a portfolio of flagship and regional shopping center assets across the West Coast.
Erica Ratner – Director of Retail Operations
Ms. Ratner serves as the Director of Retail Operations where she leads the strategic repositioning and day-to-day operations of The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks, California. Prior experience includes oversight of a notable retail portfolio including The Grove, the leading retail destination in Los Angeles, as well as Waterside at Marina del Rey and Desert Hills Premium Outlets.
Taylor Vasquez – Senior Associate, Retail Leasing
Ms. Vasquez is responsible for retail leasing across Stockdale’s retail portfolio. Previously, she held various roles for Brookfield Properties Group, gaining experience across leasing, asset management, and strategic operations within the retail platform.
Kendall Hemming – Associate, Investments
Ms. Hemming is responsible for the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities at Stockdale. Prior to joining, she was an investment sales associate at Eastdil Secured, where she focused on underwriting and marketing a variety of equity and debt transactions across several asset classes and markets.
